Hello All,

I have a slight problem... My son is on a GF/CF Diet. Starting in a few weeks, I am going to be caring for a little boy who is allergic to Eggs, and is HIGHLY allergic to peanuts. Well, these are two foods that my son eats often. The eggs, I'm not too concerned about, the reaction is small. I think I can work around this. However, the peanut reaction can be quite severe requiring an injection afterwards if he even touches a peanut. I am prepared to do this, if need be. However, I would strongly prefer to avoid having to do so if at all possible.
I am only going to be caring for this little boy one day a week, but will be serving at least 2 meals and two snacks each day he's here.
Being that both children are 2 years of age, it's best we avoid serving anything with peanuts while he's here. I have looked over Matthew's cereals and they both "may contain peanuts." I could serve Matthew eggs, and avoid them for Ashton.
I *think* waffles GF for Matthew and non GF for Ashton *may* be ok. I haven't really checked into it yet. Honestly, other than that, I'm unsure of what breakfast foods would be safe for both boys. I really hope Ashton likes fresh fruits and vegetables as Matthew does, that will help alot with snacks. I haven't even thought about lunch and Supper yet... *sigh* Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Kristie, I would have his mother bring his food for you and just eliminate any peanut food for your son the days he's with you. It doesn't seem right that you would have to figure out what to feed him.
