I should be working, but I could not pass this up....
I am not sure Al could or should play Tony. First of all he hates musicals and secondly I am not sure you really should ask him to sing-cause he can't!
You guys are too funny.

Well I certainly won't be taking any roles. We all remember the last time an ostrich got up to dance:
Horrifying.
Peg, do you want to be Maria? That way you can keep Al in line while he's playing Tony.
Back on topic.....I think our local weathermen need to be fired. They were shouting about the sky falling (strong storms) today, which kept me from scooting. Hasn't rained a drop yet. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

If you prefer prefer newer Alice there's this version. Gotta love Alice - he was way ahead of his time...
I vote with Os on TEC's role!! |
I don't have Maria's long dark hair...it's short and light brown. Although if you'll still have me as Maria I've got way to 'edge it up a bit.' I can lip sync 'I Feel Pretty' while doing a pole dancing routine.
Says she who is really taking pole dancing classes. hehe |

Sheesh. Between TEC's pole dancing and your crotch grabbing, this should be one interesting show! Maybe we should change the name to Rent. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Hey, hey, hey! I said nothing about collecting tips or being scantily clad.
Os,
Rent? I think I like WSS better. |

This is what the part calls for, I can't change the script...so if you're not interested there's a hundred others that will take the part.
Boy, talk about false advertising. Sounds like the ol' bait and switch. What good is a stripper pole without a scantily clad pole attendant? _________________ Al

OK – here’s the pitch for our new movie. Let me know if I’ve left anything out.
Backside Story
-or-
What happens when people with Gluten Intolerance have too much spare time.
2 street gangs with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions have a snapping, crotch grabbing dance off. Their quarry is the lone public toilet on their shared turf. Our tone-deaf Tony has a fist full of singles to bestow on his love, the pole-dancing, pixie haired Maria. A lone woman drives by in a bus capturing it all in her book, the Cruelshoes Chronicles. You’ll laugh. You’ll cry. You’ll kiss 10 bucks goodbye.
PS – We have a dancing ostrich.
Quite honestly, that movie sounds better than the last few I’ve seen in the theater. _________________ -Colleen

Translation: Since you already know how to pole dance, Al wants you to play Mimi. Make sure you really warm up those vocal cords for "Out Tonight".
Colleen - ROFL @ Backside Story! That'll for sure make my "must see" list. And such cheap tickets too! _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Just to get this thread back on topic....How about charging 2 gallons of gas for admission? I can see the people lining up gas cans in hand. Three gallons might sound greedy, and besides people only have two hands. _________________ Steph |
