Make your own for a fraction of the price, and not have to worry about MSG, gluten, or any of that other funny stuff. Use as you would any packet of ranch dressing mix. Modified from Marnie's Kitchen Shortcuts (ISBN 031214119X).

1 Tablespoon buttermilk powder (Saco brand)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard

Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container.

To serve

For dip: Combine mix with 1/2 cup mayonaise and 1/2 cup sour cream

For Dressing: Combine with 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup milk.

Blend well. Allow to stand in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving. You can mess with the proportions of milk, mayo and sour cream to get the thickness you want.
