|
|
| My brother-in-law has just discovered he has Celiac disease, unfortunately he had been diagnosed wrongly diagnosed with Scabies and has been suffering for many months with terrible legions to the skin. He is now in hospital very ill and has had confirmed that he has EATCL Enteropathy Related T Cell Lymphoma. Can you tell me whether all blodd family members should be tested for Celiac? We as a family are doing all we can to support my brother-in-law to help fight this awful disease. Any advice would be very helpful |

Hi Helyn,
I am so sorry to hear about your BIL.
Yes CD is genetic - all family members should be tested. Also - if one tests negative now does clear you for life, there should be followup testing.
Sorry for the short answer...but my time is short. _________________ Al

Thank you so much for the quick answer, I wish he had been given one too.
I will at least be able to alert all the family.
I will keep in touch.
Once again many thanks
