So my skin is very sensitive and despite my parents being extremely supportive and careful, I broke out a fair amount while I was visiting for 10 days over the holidays. I've been back home (in my GF kitchen) and back to my normal routine for 10 days now and I'm still breaking out in medium sized blisters. They aren't nearly as big as when I was consuming gluten but they seem bigger than my tiny ones I get occasionally here. So I guess my question is- how long does it normal take you for your skin to get back to normal? The worst blisters are on my elbows and they are painful because they get bumped or rubbed, especially while I'm sleeping. I do remember them lingering in the spring after my trip to the UK but I don't remember how long. I'm getting nervous about it because I'm going to be out of my totally GF kitchen for a month in Feb and I don't want them to just get better and then linger for several months. _________________ Rachel |

It depends on the person, the level of glutening, etc. Mine last about a month...longer if I've really glutened myself. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

yeah- I figure it is something that is going to be different for everybody. It's just so frustrating. My elbows feel raw and I wake up when I roll over on them. At this rate they'll heal just before I have to leave my gf haven for a month. _________________ Rachel |
