|
|
I received this email today from Cynthia at Columbia University CD Center. They are hosting a seminar for thought leaders [whatever they are] to learn what can be done to improve the health and quality of life for those with CD.
Gosh - why does all the great stuff have to be on either of the coasts...
Anyway...just wanted to put this out there if any one has the ability to go.

In an attempt to increase our outreach to patients with celiac disease, the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University is going to host a thought leader’s seminar in which we would be very interested in learning what we can do to improve the health and quality of life of individuals with celiac disease. During this meeting we would update the activities of the Center and request active participation of attendees.
The meeting will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2009, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm in the Faculty Club located in the Columbia University Medical Center. A gluten-free lunch will be provided.
Location
Faculty Club
Physicians & Surgeons Building
630 West 168th Street (between Broadway & Fort Washington Avenues)
4th Floor, Room 469

Topics of discussion will include research on dietary management, assessing poorly responsive patients, nutrients and current research.
Attendance will be limited to 165 people so we would appreciate you letting us know if you can attend. If you are interested in participating, please RSVP by Friday, May 8, to cb2280 at columbia.edu. There is no charge to participate.
Please feel free to send this invitation to other support group leaders.
