Does anyone have a goof GF/DF poundcake recipe? I am in change of bringing dessert to the Mothers Day event for my MIL, and my SIL cannot tolerate milk. I searched the recipe archives, but could not find what I was looking for.
When exactly does it get to be my turn when I don't have to cook anything and people cook ME dinner on Mothers day?!?!? _________________ -Colleen

Colleen, wow, talk about giving you a good work out on your weekend. LOL
If you have the soy butter....Willow Run is supposed to be DF. You could then use a soy milk and make the Land o Lakes recipe and see if you like the results. I love that recipe with the reg. butter and the reg. milk. (that is the only way I have made that one before.) When baking, I have never had any difference when using SILK in place of cow's milk.
Good luck. It would be interesting to see your results.....People are always looking for recipes without milk in it. _________________

When you decide to do what you want to do on Mother's Day despite the familial obligations.
Says she who's 'family' who she never cares to see again is ruining her Sunday with their presence. |
