It's a GOOD THING!
I am trying to learn safe foods and things to avoid. It will be so much easier if the labels MUST state what is in the food. I know that I am not nearly as sensitive as many people, so for some it is life and death. For me, it can make me sick to eat the wrong foods.
I like that companies are removing things because they don't want to lose customers. They do need to keep working on it and start to list amounts of allergens too. It is not hard to say "This product was produced in a facility that uses *****" People with extreme sensitivites will avoid it, others will say that is ok for them to use -- at least they have the information and ability to make the choice. |
