Hi. I was considering getting a Zo breadmaker. I see that they have a Mini loaf (BB-HAC10) maker that bakes 1 lb loaves. The Supreme makes 2 lb loaves.
I would be baking the bread for myself, so I thought that the mini would be better. Would others agree from their experiences?
How are the minis for sandwiches and slicing?
I see that at least the mini has a setting for french bread style. I think this can be GF(?). Does it work well? I really want to make gf French bread.
What other things should I consider?
It seems like these machines will start paying for themselves after about 30-40 loaves compared to store-bought gf bread.
Thanks for your thoughts. |

Off the cuff, I have a Surpreme, and have had Supremely (haha) good bread results so far, as long as I eat the bread fairly quickly or if I have the foresight to freeze some of it. My favorite GF bread is anything out of the bread machine - then I punt to the Silly Yak (sorry Silly! ).
As far as slicing goes, I use a fiddlebow knife for consistent widths.
I *do* have trouble consuming the entire loaf before some of it goes bad, so if you're the only one eating the bread, the Mini may be a better idea. |

Hi. Thanks for the information. I didn't see your reply for a while.
A fiddlebow knife. Sounds like a fun tool.
I am pretty certain of myself, that I won't bake bread unless I get a machine to do most of the work for me. |
