Prostate removal is a scary thing, but I wanted to spread some information about it in case anyone finds it useful. There are three types of procedures that can be done to remove the prostate. There is the perineal, suprapubic, and laparoscopic prostatectomies. They differ on where the incision is made in the patient, and their recovery times vary. Before the surgery you’ll undergo blood and urine tests, and the doctors will check kidney function. They’ll take x-rays of your chest and you’ll have an EKG to monitor your heart during surgery. There are a few side effects of removing the prostate: loss of urinary control and sexual malfunction.
It’s important to maintain good prostate health to avoid surgery. Taking supplements that might ease the discomfort of enlarged prostates are helpful such as this herbal remedy and this nutrition bar. Taking prostate supplements will also ease the discomfort. Taking care of your prostate early is the best solution to avoid surgery!
I hope this helped!
