Do you have left over cookie crumbs? Ever wonder what do with them? We did. After cutting up 12 doz cookies for Cookie Daze, we had several cookies worth of crumbs. It seemed a shame to throw it all way.
I was rummage around the freezer to see if we had any ice cream...I was going to put them on top...no luck. Then Peg suggested pudding. If fished around the fridge until I found some vanilla. I scooped half out of the convenient cup into a bowl and covered with ChocoNutter crumbs/dust. Scooped out the rest and covered that with more 'Nutter dust.
It was surprising good!
Since these cookies have chocolate chips, not sure how well they'd work for a crust for a dessert type thing.... _________________ Al

I rarely have cookie crumbs... We eat all of our cookies, crumbs and all.
I actually need to make cookies, and intentionally make some vanilla and chocolate ones for pie crusts & toppings for icecream that will be crushed...
I did once before make a choc-chip cookie pie crust, and boy was it good! I did it for a cream cheese-pie.. yummo! _________________

Wow, that sounds like a delicious treat. I agree with you aklap, throwing away those cookie crumbs is like stepping on an ant. Sorry for the term but I really feel sorry if there's any leftover food especially cookie crumb that will be thrown instead of making it a delightful treat like what you did.
I like the way you make those cookie crumbs to a good use. Yummy! _________________ Gluten free bread | Ktaz gluten free bread |
