Linda posted one that I really like and I am super picky. Have found other uses for the recipe. Makes a good pizza crust too. Takes a little effort but worth it. I don't know if a person can ever find that "normal biscuit recipe" I think it is a little bit like when can you buy bread that tastes real.
Have a good day

Since I'm new here, I hate to ask the question others have probably suggested countless times, but I will -- are you certain beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are following a GF diet? I mean, is your home GF? Or are you dining out and possibly getting hidden ingredients, or cross-contamination?? There are so many possibilities . . . and I KNOW you're likely quite tired of it all -- we ALL know that feeling.
Anyway, yes, it's hard to do things like college when you're sick -- hard to get focused, and just feel well enough to care much, right? Good luck -- you'll get there. It's just a long haul sometimes.

It isn't easy now, but compared to then - its a piece of gluten free cake! There were no GF foods, labeling on packaging wasn't any help and neither were the doctors. My husband was finally diagnosed by a dermatologist, (he has dermatitis herpetaformis) handed an information sheet that basically said "avoid wheat". So while things aren't even close to being perfect now, its WAY easier to find decent packaged foods.
Hope to see your posts often! |
Yup, DH was one of the things that led to my diagnosis. And I like you're pice of (GF) cake -- very cute! Yup, it's so easy and enjoyable now . . . And it will only get better!
Thanks for the welcome,

| Lexi, have you tried giving up all citrus to help your arthritis? I read something again the other day about citrus being bad for arthritis. I would also suspect potatoes, & tomatoes & black pepper & maybe peaches. chili powder? |

Hhi, and thanks for the suggestion(s) . . .
I tried an elimination diet for arthritis, and several foods did in fact contribute (all forms of peppers being included in that list) . . . but citrus wasn't one that bothered me.
