Pat's Pizza is a chain in Maine. They have recently added GF pizza to their menus. I am pretty sure it is available in all locations. A friend and I stopped for lunch today in their Scarborough location. The pizza was very, very good. It's nice to know that there is another safe dining option, esp. when I want something quick.
I will call tomorrow to confirm if all the locations offer the GF pizza. _________________ Steph |

I love Pat's GF pizza. They seem to have good CC policies too. The one I go to uses colored pizza cutters, pizza peels, etc. so that they don't get mixed up with the regular ones.
I heard they now have Redbridge along with some GF desserts, though I haven't actually eaten in one of their restaurants in a while. (I usually get takeout with my coworkers, and it's awesome to be able to do that again!) |

"Normal" people, meaning NGF people, don't have any idea how much that means to us.
And yes, they had on their sandwich-board sign that they had Redbridge. No mention of the GF desserts.... Guess that means another visit, too bad, so sad. _________________ Steph |

All in the name of research , my husband and I ate at the Scarborough location over the weekend. I asked our waitress if all Pat's locations had GF available. She said that it might vary with different restaurants in the chain because they are individually owned, so before going it might be best to check the location you are planning to visit.
She was unaware of any GF desserts being available, but said she would mention that people are asking.
Jean-I also noticed that Pizza Plus near the Maine Mall had GF pizza on their sign. Not sure if you are ever in that area, but it's something to keep in the back of your mind. _________________ Steph |

Oh man, you guys are making me homesick. I haven't been back to Maine in 8-9 years.
We used to live at Pat's Pizza pre-gf days when I was in High School. Well there and Amato's (sp) in S. Portland which had the best meatball subs evah. _________________ CD by Biopsy 3/25/88 |

Hey Kathie- It's really pretty here in Maine right now. But I'm sure you know how beautiful "taxationland" is in October. Wicked nice! Well, now you know you can get a good GF pizza if you come to visit. Ayuh.
For the uninitiated: Maine's official nickname is Vacationland (it's even on our license plates.) More than a few Maine-iacs refer to it as taxationland instead. It's a nice place to visit, but it's expensive tax-wise, and it keeps getting worse every year. _________________ Steph |
