I have to bring a soup to a church activity on Wednesday. I would like to do a crock pot soup since I won't have any prep time when I get home from work. What is your favorite crock pot soup recipe?
Thanks for sharing. _________________ -Colleen

Baked potato soup! If you plan on having leftovers I would add at least another quart of chicken broth. Straight out of the pot it's fine. But the leftovers can be like brick mortar. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

| My first though was Chicken. But Navy Bean with Ham would be easier |

This looks great, Os! Do you serve it with crumbled bacon? Do you think I could crunble the bacon and mix it in right before serving? It would be great if people could just scoop and go without worrying about garnishing. _________________ -Colleen

Thanks for the baked potato soup recommendation, Os. It couldn't have been easier to make, and I had several people ask me for the recipe. I served it out of my crockpot with shredded cheese, crumbled bacon and sliced green onions on the side. One of my NGF friends said to me "I need to get all of your recipes, because you are a great cook." Yeah! _________________ -Colleen

Wooo! I'm glad it worked, though it's not my recipe. And to answer your previous question: yes, I always serve it with toppings (cheese, bacon, green onions, mustard powder) on the side.
You might also like chicken noodle soup and pizza soup, but I haven't tried them yet. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

The pizza soup is good. So very gooooood. My only suggestion would be to leave the pepperoni slices till the end (garnish). They don't taste like much after sitting in the crock all day. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={
