WARNING about NC restaurant chain

Last night I had a horrible experience at the carolina ale house in Cary, NC and strongly suggest that everyone avoid all L&M restaurants (they are listed at the website below).

The waitress would not let me talk with the manager and assured me that there would not be gluten in my meal. She said that there was not a sauce on the veggies when there was one! She later told me the veggies were cooked on the same flat plate as the meats and I am sure the sauces from the meats were on the veggies and made me sick. I refuse to eat at a restaurant where staff will lie to me and endanger my health because they don't care. To make matters worse, when you use the "contact us" link on their site it will bouce back to you! It's painfully obvious they don't give a damn about their patrons, and especially not about those of us with food allergies.

I got a call back asking for more info on what went wrong, but no call yet telling me what they plan to change or how they handle food allergies now. At least they are looking into it.
