This company gave me a great response to my inquiry, and got back to me within 12 hours. If you are wondering what that noise was it was the sound of me tearing in to a delicious package of SIXLETS! They still taste the same. Kinda fakey, all delicious. They are just chock full of sixlety goodness. I have no idea why I like them, they aren't even real chocolate. But they are so GOOD!

Subject: RE: gluten in sixlets?
Good morning Colleen,
The Sixlets products that we manufacture are gluten free. Some of the other chocolate products that we manufacture do contain gluten; specifically, items with cookies or crisped rice in them. Since the Sixlets products are manufactured in a separate facility from our other types of chocolate products, Sixlets can be considered safe for people with gluten intolerance. We do not recommend the other chocolate products we manufacture to anyone with food allergies, because even though the ingredients containing gluten are not specifically contained in all products, it is possible for a variety of products to run on the same lines as finished products containing these ingredients, and there is also the possibility that they may come in contact with the cookies, crisped rice, and peanuts or nutmeats sometime during the manufacturing process.
I hope this information is helpful to you.
Thank you for your inquiry and have a nice day!

Can you tell me if there is gluten in Sixlets? This would be any ingredient derived from wheat, barley, rye or oats. Do you have a gluten free list of products?
Thank you!

It's because they're made of heroin, not chocolate. And heroin is GF.
*tries to grab them through the screen*
That's great news! Maybe they'll be my Halloween candy this year. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

I've never heard of these things. Gotta get out from under my rock a bit more often
What a great response. This ranks them right up there with Hormel Brach's, Hershey's...are you paying attention? _________________ Al

My kids and I love Sixlets...........I thought they had malt in them.........thanks for educating me! Now I know what to look for at Walmart.
Al & Torrey, these are candy coated like M&M's, but they have a malt like flavor and the shell is not quite as hard as M&M's shells. _________________

I will also add that I don't feel compelled to sort the different colors of Sixlets like I complusively do with my M&M's. Wierd. Maybe it's because they are round and it's harder to keep them in distinct piles. I almost feel like a normal person when I eat them. _________________ -Colleen

I bought myself a bag of Sixlets to keep in my office drawer at work (Big mistake! I have already inhaled 14 tons of them today). I just noticed that it says Gluten Free right on the front of the bag! Yeah! I love it when companies do that! _________________ -Colleen

Mrs. P says they have a malt-like flavor. Do they taste at all like malted milk balls? I miss malted milk balls so much... I've never seen sixlets before. Hope they have them around here. _________________ Steph |

| Sixlets are the candy I love to hate. I've never cared for malt flavored things, but once I start eating them, I can't stop. The whole time, I keep thinking how they don't taste very good, but I keep eating them anyway. Maybe that's why everyone thinks they're like heroin... |

mmmmmm sixlets... I love to stick the whole little pack in my mouth and try and slide them all into my mouth at once... thus no color sorting with these for me either. _________________ Kim --
