Has anyone seen this website http://glutenfreemaps.com/? I just heard about it today in our support group meeting. It lists/maps all the local GF restaurants in any given area. I know there've been other sites similar to this. Just wondering what ya'll thought about this one.

They do have an extensive disclaimer some of which is:
Quote:
This website contains user-submitted information. The reliability of this information cannot be guaranteed. Before visiting any restaurant listed on the GlutenFreeMaps website, it is your responsibility to contact the restaurant to address any concerns.

I guess this is like any sort of multi-user created list. Some people have a bad experience while other's have a good one. They do have a submission flag as well as a place for people to voice their concerns/comments regarding each restaurant.

Do you think you'd use something like this? If not what other resources do you use to find safe restaurants to eat at either locally or when traveling? (No saying this forum either - that's a given!) Wink

I haven't heard of this specific one, but I have seen others. This one doesn't have much info as it doesn't list anything for my area, and I check the Minneapolis/St. Paul area considering I will be there next week, and it only listed 2 restaurants. This one seems like it might be a little more user friendly once it gets a good number of restaurants listed.
