Synthroid AND gluten?

I was just diagnosed with Celiac Sprue Disease about a week ago. I am also hypothyroid and was wondering if anyone knows if Synthroid is gluten free. I called the company but they read me off some prewritten answer sheet and told me they can't guarentee that it is gluten free. They said their products are manufactured by different proprietors and could not disclose that information to me.
My meds contain different dyes in them and I have read somewhere that I should be careful of that.

I call and confirm all meds I give my three year old son. If the company can not guarantee me it is gluten free I try different companies. My wife takes synthroid so I know for sure there are different suppliers of this drug. Call your pharmacist. They are usually very helpful and understanding.
