We also pack Thai Kitchen noodle mixes. Most hotels have a microwave that you can use and they make a quick meal in a pinch... just add water.

Lots of cooking and canning this way too.... Going to be a big salsa making fest this fall as last year we didn't get enough tomatoes to do any!
