Hello all
I am looking for a support group in the Olympia Washington area or close by. Seattle is just to far away. I have been on a gluten free diet for about 18 years, way back when no one knew what the heck it was and couldnt find anything in the store to eat.
Any one out there in this area? I have done a search in a couple places to find nothing.
Thanks

Laurie, I live in Seattle, but I used to live in Olympia. I'd put notes up at the food co-op and see if there's anybody else down there. That seems one of the most logical places to look.

Good luck!

Laurie - I live in Federal Way, and the closest one to me is in Bellevue. The Gluten Intollerance Group is headquartered in Seattle. If you send them an email at info@gluten.net, they may be able to hook you up with a support group that is in your area.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the site, but I have check alot of different sites to find none within 50 or more miles from me. I live in the state capitol you'd think there would be one its not a small city.
Guess I should start my own.I know there are alot of gluten intolerant people here cause there are alot of stores selling it and cant keep it on there shelves.

thanks everyone for the help
the info@gluten.net email address has seemed to help so far. I sent a message and I received a reply telling me that to there knowledge there is no group in Olympia but one within 25 miles from me, so going to check that one out. She is trying to get me to start one here, so maybe I will.
thanks again
