I was just reading the post in this section about storing GF bread, and it got me to wondering about storing GF breadcrumbs and croutons.
Should I be putting them in the freezer or can I keep them in a Tupperware container in the cupboard? They are already dried out and kind of oven toasted. Gluten-filled croutons/crumbs just sit in the cupboard, why not GF?
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Linda |

Hi Linda,
I suppose it depends on how fast you use them. We keep our GF breadcrumbs in a tupperware container in the freezer. I don't know about croutons. I didn't eat many croutons when I was eating gluten...I eat far less now LOL
GF bread molds quite quickly (I can get about about 1 wk before it molds for me). _________________ Al
