Are there any GF canned soups out there that actually taste good? I was just diagnosed about 4 months ago, and one of the things I really miss is soups, chili, etc.
Any suggestions?
Thank you! |

I like Amy's soups a LOT! I can't do dairy, so I can't choose from just any of them, but if you can consume dairy, there are even MORE of them to love!

| Last I checked Progresso had two Gf soups. Muchroom and Wild Rice and Chicken. PLEASE reconfirm that with General Mills. It has been awhile since I have looked into this because nobody in my family is a big soup fan. |

I use their Cream of Mushroom, Wild Rice & Chicken plus 1 or 2 others.
I grabbed this from Delphi...
Progresso (800-200-9377) (7/07/04) (www.generalmills.com)
All ingredients will be listed on the label because their recipes might change. Ingredients will be clearly labeled "wheat, barley or rye" and not hidden. Tomato products are made on totally separate lines from the soups (which contain gluten)
Progresso "New" "Rich & Hearty New England Clam Chowder" chunky style (VP-8/24/04) gluten free. Caution! their "Traditional New England Clam Chowder" is NOT gluten free.
Below is there products with ingredients. BUT, it's best to read the ingredients on the can because they could be different. I noticed long ago, that Progresso is pretty good about listing their allergens. It was sporatic tho - some cans would list them, some cans wouldn't. Of course that will all change now.

Hope this helps. _________________ Al
