Gluten substitute?

My sister found a product by Orgran that calls itself "gluten substitute". Has anyone ever used this product? Is it used in place of Xanthan gum?
We haven't used it yet because the directions are in Aussie metric and we haven't worked them out yet. Any suggestions? Thanks.

It looks like they have a host of GF products. One of them being the Gluten Replacer. It looks interesting.

It almost appears that it replaces some about of flour. The recipes call for 1/2...1/3...1/4 cup of it.

I think I've had their corn crispbread. It's a very crispy cracker.
