Ok, so this morning wasn't so bad--got up, got a shower, and headed to the train station...business as usual through lunch time...
This afternoon has been absolutely insane!
First off, one of my co-workers got stuck in a possessed (or otherwise dysfunctional) elevator (we work on the 23rd floor) that dropped a few floors, shot back up, and finally let her out on 22. Needless to say, EMTs were called and she went home with a possible case of whiplash.
Think I'm walking down 23 flights of stairs tonight!
Then, not even 5 minutes later, my boyfriend calls me to tell me that he hit the wrong button on the security system for the house...yeah, it was the POLICE button...he's in the process of asking me what to do when the security company calls me on the other line...I tell them it was an accident and that everything is fine. I give them my password and ask if they could PLEASE not dispatch the police...
Yes, the cops were at my house this afternoon...
Just 40 minutes until this work day is over...
I need a massage and a margarita! _________________ ~Torrey

Days like that can only make tomorrow look better. Hang in there girl and look on the bright side, there will be no need to go to the gym tonight because you've become the Ultimate Stair Master! It's only funny because I was not the one going down 23 flights of stairs. _________________ Connie
