Hey Al,
I'll find a link but I read that the newest study out of the University of Maryland now says that its 1:133 in the US. This was confirmed for me today at the celiac center.
That makes over 2 million by my count.
In the world its 1:250
United Kingdom 1:100
Finland: 1:99
Argentina 1:170
We screen all newborns for PKU and that only strikes 1:15,000.
FYI: For those of you wondering, my shrink calls it analysis paralysis.

Hi Ari,
Yes that article was dated 2002. You are correct, the current numbers are 1:133 - that is for the "average" or "normal" person. It's 1:56 for those that have symptoms. _________________ Al

And thats exactly why I think WE can win this war!
It's time for the medical proffession to wake up.
If they can't do it on their own I'll be more than happy to show them the error of their ways.
Its 7 am and I'm awake. I'm not talking about physically awake, I mean alert and conscious!
