I have silent CD and my GI doc wants me to get tested once a year. I was dx'd 02/05 and had Abs test in Sept 05. The numbers were "almost" zero (but based on the other threads I"m going to start getting copies and doing my own research).
I'm thinking I would feel more comfortable getting tested twice a year - was just wondering what other people are doing.
I do have an HMO so the tests don't cost me anything additional. I realize not everyone has this advantage.
Thanks in advance for your responses! |

Hi Copper,
Typically, it's once a year. I have seen 6 month mark too when just starting out. Maybe with silent CD doing it more than that maybe suggested by your doc.
Every 24months might be a bit long, unless you really know for sure you have a handle on the GF diet (and it sounds like you do). I'm sure the willingness to comply to the diet will play a role too.
Keep up the good work!!
