Colleen,
Can you "donate" the pasta to a gluten eating friend/relative/neighbor?

Os--I think I got the cheese shaker thing at A&P...I can pick some up and send it to you, if you want. Smile The shakers are surprisingly small. Apparently, they used to come in a larger size, but it wasn't a hot enough seller.

Colleen--I really do like the baby's name. Smile I know what you mean about wanting to make the name unique but not odd. And it's cool how you guys came up with it!
I start the new job after Memorial Day weekend, so I have a few days off to get ready. Smile

Oh, and I am getting a new kitten this week--a little brother for Kona...he's very dark brown, almost black, and I'm adopting him from a rescue shelter. His name is either going to be Emmett or Moose...still deciding... Wink

Yes - we can definitely do that. There must be someone at church that can use them. I just wanted to get it out of the house as quickly as possible this weekend. Very Happy

Thanks Torrey! Let me check one more time while we're out shopping this weekend. If I still don't have any luck I'll let you know. Make sure to post pictures of the new kitten! Smile

Sarah Violet is definetly a cool name! I'm a big fan of "Sarah" and violets myself.

Thanks for the great idea!! My son does OK with the GF but at a price. I have recently used rice pasta with just Velveeta Cheese melted but this gets gummy and hard to save as seconds. This is just one more way to help him feel like he is eating the same as the other kids. I am going to try your idea with the bean macaroni samples I just got. Anyone tried them?

Also, I don't remember if I posted it here before, but Annie's has a boxed mac & cheese that is GF and it's pretty tasty. I make it a lot for myself, actually, but I think kids would also probably like it. The pasta is a rice pasta and the cheese powder stuff is actually pretty close to what I remember Kraft tasting like...
And Amy's makes a frozen GF mac & cheese...
HTH!

I haven't tried the pasta you are talking about, but my kids love their Mac and Cheese made from the Tinkyada Little Dreams. They are in all kinds of fun, kid friendly shapes.
