Hi There -
This is not Celiac-related, but I shared with everyone that my husband was laid off around Valentine's Day of this year. He works for an automotive supplier, on contract. He is a mechanical engineer.
His company called him back 2 weeks ago, I am happy to report!!
Thanks for all the support we received through private messages. It meant a lot.
The ongoing stress sometimes didn't help the healing of my poor old tummy (was diagnosed on Oct. 30th of last year), but I held my own and kept at it, day by day.
Will be in a 5K in Detroit next Sunday to raise funds for The Center For Celiac Research at the U. of Maryland.
Uh...you're all gonna be there, right? Al said he's going to lead the PACK!! Ha Ha
Hope all of you are feeling well :^) _________________ Don't give up....unless it's gluten!! |

Hey Carole!!
Glad to hear hubby's back to work and your keeping at it!!
Yeah...the only way I'd be out front is in a car!!! LOL!
I used to run. I was a runner in HS (track - 1 & 2 mile events, Cross Country 3 miles). Good luck. We'll be cheering you on in spirit. Hope you raise LOTS & LOTS of $$$$$. Get hubby to take some pictures of ya so you can post them - at the finish line of course _________________ Al

I'm SOOOO glad that things are picking up for you. Yea! Congratulations on your husband being back to work. This might even call for a safe "Celebration Dinner" at the Gluten Free Bel Cibo Cafe in Clawson. That should be not too far for your family to go.
I am very glad DH is working again and things are better for your family. _________________ Dairy free 7-2004
