True. I was speaking specifically for ME. A plane ticket to Green Bay was actually more expensive than my ticket to California. And, since the conference is two days, I would have ended up staying over for 3 nights as opposed to 2. Plus the food, conference registration fees and such.

For others, it very well might be cheaper!! It didn't work out that way for me. Plus, I have a friend in San Leandro that I get to visit with when I'm in CA! Very Happy
