I scan thru a few of these..kind of interesting...
Dr. Lewey is one of a handful of Doctors the give credibility to Non Celiac Gluten Sensitivity. His articles are definitely worth reading if you are still searching for answers and have been told that you don't have Celiac Disease.
| Quote: | | Dr. Scot Lewey is a physician who is subspecialty trained and board certified in gastroenterology (diseases of the digestive tract) that has over 20 years of experience as an expert clinician, researcher, lecturer and author of more than twenty articles, book chapters, and scientific abstracts. His special interests include Celiac disease, food intolerance and allergies, colitis, Crohn's disease, irritable bowel syndrome & reflux. |

Any one in the Colorado Springs area know of this Dr? _________________ Al

Interesting. I'm about an hour away from this guy - never heard of him - but am now thinking about going to see him.
Thanks for the links! _________________ Nance

|
|
At 15 months GF I am most certainly having new food issues and am tired of going it alone (the immense font of knowledge on this board and others notwithstanding), and have made an appointment to see Dr. Lewey September 11th . I'm keeping a food diary and bringing with me all of my lab and doctor visit paperwork for the last two years. I figure I should take advantage of his knowledge and expertise since he is only an hour or so away from me.
Any other suggestions as to how to prepare/what to bring with me from those of you who have seen a good gastro?
