My 8 year old went back to school today... here he is lookin' all handsome and ready to start the year. I just had to share! I hope the mohawk wasn't "too much" for the first day!!

Our school doesn't start until Sept. 5. Is yours a year-round school or a modified calendar or does all school in the States start so early?

Ours start next Tuesday, My niece is MO started yesterday too.

Yeah, here in Jersey, school doesn't start until after Labor Day...
I don't have any kids yet, (just two crazy kitties) but I was a teacher when I first graduated college.

It depends on where you live. I live in the Midwest, and our school year in our area is August through May.
However, I was born and raised in NY - where the school year is September - June.
