We love Talk Like a Pirate Day here. We have a homeschool activity planned (did it last year, too). Where we'll have balloon swords, hidden treasure, singing and general mayhem.
This year my son and I will have matching pirate shirts as we ran across this great fabric with gold skulls and crossbones all over it.

Seems like there is a day for everything. Not that anyone could actually have time to participate in all these things; or want to. heh. _________________ Mike

One of my coworkers stumbled across this silly holiday a year or two ago and now it's become this "thing" we all do at work once a year. Costumes and talkin' Pirate over the cube walls to one another. Well at least it keeps us entertained... _________________ Cheers!

I'm afraid I don't know many piratey words. Let's see... argh, matey, shiver me timbers... I think that's all I know. A little help?
Has anyone ever seen the Veggie Tales video called "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything"?
Oh, I just thought of another word - AHOY!!!

For studying up on your pirate talk, I suggest watching the Pirates of the Carribean. _________________ Mike

What do you mean? Just being curious. And you can hit up my Wikipedia link to find more pirate slang. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={
