Hey all -
So it's been three weeks and one day since I sent in my EnteroLab kit and I sent in an email (as suggested on the site) this morning asking if they have my results yet. No reply so far. What's making this worse is that they actually sent me some test results on Easter Sunday but then they turned out to be for another person. So they told me they were sure I'd get *my* results this week.
Anyone have to wait longer than three weeks? Anyone get someone else's results?
Gosh I'm impatient...

YEOW!! That really makes you feel confident!!
I thought I was in a Jelly Bean induced stupor for awhile...I saw your post...then later I came back to reply to it and it was gone!!! As well as another persons post! At first I thought maybe there was a website problem. Then this morning (since we haven't seen you out here lately), I thought maybe you decided to leave us LOL!!
That explains it...you deleted the invalid results
I have not heard any problems with time delays for other people. Of course they maybe just didn't say anything.
I need to get mine ordered!!
I hope you get them soon!! _________________ Al

I should have figured you'd see that post, Al!!!
I wondered if anyone noticed...
Yeah, I was really confused by "my results" so I posted them to discuss and then a few hours later found out they weren't mine. I thought about keeping the post but changing the info but decided I'd give EnteroLab time to get their stuff together before mentioning it on this board. Sure it's not typical but I'm tired of waiting (see, I'm impatient) in part because now I have gotten confused and sort of believe the wrong results really are mine. But they weren't. Confused!!!
Sigh. _________________ Stephanie |

Update -
I was persuaded by another online board to email again EnteroLab, or even call them in case they thought they'd already mailed me my results. So I emailed and called today. Finally got through and was told that they weren't ready yet, and the person on the phone couldn't guesstimate. Just for the record it's been 3 weeks and 2 days (not that I'm counting) and I'm still impatient. Sigh. I keep hearing on this other board people saying "oh, it only took two weeks" etc which isn't helping. Nor the fact that the person who emailed me this past weekend with the wrong results assured me I should have my results by the end of this week. Well, seeing as it's Thurdsay and they couldn't tell me on the phone when I'd have my results, I'll guess it's not going to be this week.
Oh well... I guess I've waiting most of my life anyway, what's one more week? (argh, now if only I could get the impatient part of me to believe that!) _________________ Stephanie |

What?!?! Another board?!?!?! You've been board hopping??!?!?! THAT'S why you haven't been out here...you've been on another board <whaaaaaaaa>
We are crushed...I s'pose next you'll tell us that that other board means nothing to you!
ROTFLMBO!!!
I hope you get your results soon. I'd be the same way. Remember...good things come to those who wait

OK, you found me out, Al... sorry I was just spreading the "magic" around...
Meh. I get some info from them but they're all much more into other things than the things I'm into (politics, music, religion) and while that doesn't ordinarily bother me, it is a tad bit heavy-handed at times. So I only glance around...
They had more info on EnteroLab though...
And I *do* work for a living, ya know! I'm lucky I get to goof off as much as I do! _________________ Stephanie |

Yet another update (I know you are all sitting on the edge of your seats!)
I got an email from Dr. Fine today apologizing for the mix-up and saying that they definitely had my lab stuff and I should get my results soon. He said it was a very rare event and that it had to do with data entry at the end of the lab tests, not mixing up the actual lab materials.
Anyway, I appreciated the personal touch and don't want to come off sounding like I am disappointed with EnteroLab - I'm just impatient which is my own problem!
Here's to paitence and other virtues... _________________ Stephanie |
