Well, life has a funny way of showing you what is important. My husband is now a little over one month postop and is still unable to go back to work, he has a Charcot foot along with the toe amputation. He will require a special brace and corrective shoe to be able to walk again. I am just thankful that he did not lose his leg or his life. He is really having a hard time, not being able to work or get out of the house without assistance. It has changed the dynamics of our daily life and our marriage. Our daughter is reacting out of fear over almost losing her dad, a lot of anger and hostility toward both of us. I think she is just having trouble expressing her feelings. My health has taken a beating, even though I don't think I've been near gluten, I have lost my appetite, had horrible stomach pain and many of the CD symptoms I suffered before going GF - perhaps just all the stress. Glad to be back, hopefully you will see me around a little more. Cool I'm just thankful for my family, God's grace and a place to vent and share the GF lifestyle

I wish you guys all the luck and hope things keep getting better. Kids are funny the way they see things and the way they react to them, just give them time. And I pray for you guys also. carey

Noahswife, glad to hear that your hubby is in the 'healing' mode now. Hopefully that he will just get stronger now.

You are probably having stress related gut issues.

Isn't it a good thing that the Lord makes our kids so cute...........otherwise, we might .....well nevermind. With love and attention, she should straighten out and be better behaving soon.

Take care!

Noah's wife, glad you are back with us and that your husband is recovering. Stay strong and keep the faith, and give your daughter lots of hugs. Smile
