| Did any of you moms had/have gestational diabetes during pregnancy? I am taking a look back at my medical history to see if I can identify instances where I was having gluten problems, but didn't yet realize it. Now that I know how gluten affects me, I'm not sure if my emotional rollercoaster during pregnancy was solely hormonally induced, and if there may have been a connection between gluten intolerance and gestational diabetes. |

Hi Bob,
I controlled the diabetes with my diet for the last 10 weeks of pregnancy. My son was hyperglycemic when he was born, and normalized almost immediately. GD goes away as soon as baby is born, but I still struggle with normalizing my blood sugar, and have an increased predisposition for diabetes because of the GD and my family history. _________________ Nance
