Does anyone have a problem with strawberries?

We have been trying to figure out what it is that is making our daughter continue to have stomach aches.... at times. And though we have by no means taken a scientific approach, it does seem that strawberries may be the culpret.

So I'm just wondering if anyone else suffers from stomach pain after strawberries.

Hey,

I posted a reply to this earlier, but it got lost in the firewall of my work computer network... Confused
In any event, I believe the issue with strawberries is the seeds, if I remember correctly. I personally don't have a problem with them, but I think the seeds are the culprit...

Have you tried other berries?

Rebecca seems fine with all the other berries... so maybe the seeds are the problem.

Is it just stomach aches? Are there any other symptoms?

For Rebecca it seems just to be stomach ache and just with strawberries - so we have cut them out. Not sure what they do to her... but with all the other fruits around, I guess we can live without that one. Wink

Just curious. I have a friend who's allergic to strawberries. She doesn't have a problem with any other fruit or berry, so she just cut them out of her diet.
