With all of the new and increasing charges for checking more than one bag (or even the one, in some cases), I am dreading my travels this summer. I may even ship my cookware and food ahead of me instead of bringing on the plane. However, I loved the look on the airport security guy's face last year when he opened my carry-on and found a frying pan, spatula and baggies of nuts and seeds. Very Happy

Good point! Is anybody planning on bringing one of these with them while traveling this summer?

DH and I are going to CA, but it's only for a few days. So I don't have to pack as much stuff.

Call the airline. They may be willing to allow you to carry a food case free of charge due to medical issues. If nothing else the phone call is free.

We're going to Australia in 5 weeks... I think I'll do a foodcase for Lil bit and I. Has anybody had luck with getting an extra suitcase allowed for medical necessity?
