Hi all,

I have a question for anyone...General Foods International Coffee (Kraft company). French vanilla flavor instant coffee ...doesn't list any wheat, rye or malt barley on the website ingredient list. Anyone have any problems with this or know anything about this product?

I also remember a discussion about citrate...anyone have problems with citrate? I'm trying to pinpoint possible problems if any with this product.

Hi Deb,

I don't drink coffee, so I don't know all the finer points of coffee or any side effects Wink. I don't remember a conversation on Citrate - a couple on citric acid however. I did a search in forums for citrate but didn't find too much - other than I take Magnessium Citrate as a supp.

Thanks Al,

I did call Kraft and they assured me that it was gluten free, so I hate to ask my client to give it up even though I don't like the idea of so many additives and sugar first thing in the morning. And they're using sodium citrate and dipotassium phosphate, as a preservative/flavor inhancer. It's rare but there are some people who have a real problem with citrate and citric acid. I'll do another search on the sodium cirate and see if anything comes up.
