|
I have been racking my brain trying to find a link to a product that is powdered sugar without any cornstarch in it.
If any of you that are better at research could you be so kind as to point me to some links?
My pain meds have finally clicked in and I am going to have to call it a night. PTL!
Thanks in advance!!! _________________

Lorka, I would love to know what you do!
Ihave been taking 1 cup of sugar and 1 T of potato starch in blending for a while in the blender. (It is 'pretty good' but not as fine as what I use for other cakes)
It is also very time consuming 1 cup at a time when I want to make MrP a decorated cake.
I was looking of something easier than what I do now.
THanks! _________________

Hello! I've used 1 1/2 tbsp. tapioca (or potato, but often i use tapioca) starch per 1 c. sugar. I'm not sure if that 1/2 tbsp. would make a difference - but could it also be your blender? Mine gets quite fine and is a great sub. Otherwise, that's all I've got for you! I will keep my eyes peeled though - the only other icing sugar I've seen int he store has wheat flour. _________________ If you're hungry, I'd love your support! |
