I'm glad someone else out there thinks the same of cookie dough as me. I was beginning to feel like an outcast.
Licking the cake beaters was a treat until my mom got a Kitchen Aid. One beater + 2 kids = fight. We then got a teaspoon dipped in the cake batter...just not the same. |

Oh yes, I very much enjoyed teasing my mother when I started making cookies with Egg Beaters, since they are pasteurized...
I am back to making the GF kind with whole eggs, but hey. |

| For those in the Chicago area, I was just at Jewel and saw this brand of dairy free ice cream in their freezer section next to Ben and Jerry's. Didn't see the cookie dough, but they offered several other flavors. I was hoping to spot GF brownie ice cream. It's probably a good thing I didn't! |

Thanks for posting this! I'm looking everywhere and calling around for it! _________________ Is ferret meat gluten-free? |

OK, so I finally managed to try this stuff last night. It was sweet. Very, very sweet. Diabetic coma sweet.
But, that doesn't mean it wasn't good. It was excellent. I just couldn't eat too much of it. At 280ish calories per half cup, that's probably a good thing. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Holy $#*^! That's a lot of calories for a small portion. I'm glad I don't care for cookie dough ice cream. |

LOL, does that surprise you?
Last weekend I made some of those (nonGF) "break and bake" cookies. The kind that you just break off and drop on a cookie sheet. They were roughly 90 calories per cookie. And the cookies were only 2-2.5 inches across. That basically means they're made of butter and chocolate chips.
(No, I didn't eat any of them. They were for a party.)
Edit: I'm sorry, I should've checked the link first. From their website:

Hey, at least there's no trans fat.  _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Yes, but I love cookies when made with butter and chocolate chips. And the caloriese from food don't count when you love the item. |
