|
|
DH and I went to PF Chang's last night. I ordered my usual: GF Street Noodles (no shrimp). However, that's not what came back. When our food arrived I discovered they had dumped a small amount of noodles and chicken on the plate. The rest was covered in a mountain of what looked to be pre-shredded slaw mix (cabbage and carrots). The slaw mix wasn't even cooked.
For a bit I thought they just screwed up my order. Or ran out of noodles. But then I noticed everybody else was getting the same treatment: their dishes had a least several handfuls of slaw mix on top.
Has anybody else been there recently? Is this an actual change to their menu? Or did we just pick a night with a crummy chef? I don't mind veggies, but the dish is called "Street Noodles", not "Street Slaw".  _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

I haven't been to PF Chang's in a while but I'm willing for anyone to take me (it's another long drive) to test out whether it is a Chef or Menu issue. |

Ostrich,
I will be waiting at the San Francisco Airport for you. We can go directly to PF Chang's from there..... |

Oooo, I've never been to San Francisco! Sacramento is pretty much all I've seen of CA. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Ostrich,
Sacramento and San Francisco are as different as night and day. Hopefully, some day you will visit. My top 3 world cities are Paris, Hong Kong, and San Francisco.

Al, Yes, it seems we moved from Dining out to Travel. Maybe we should start a thread under travel on where we have been in the world? A few good travel stories might be in order....like the time I was interrogated . for over 6 hours (3+ standing up) in Israel and followed repeatedly as if I was in a spy movie -- and all way before 9/11 |
