I seem to be able to tolerate the GF oats quite well. I don't eat them often because of the expense, and I haven't wanted to test how much I can tolerate.
For those of you that have tried the GF oats, how much are you eating per day? Do you find that you can eat them up to a point, but not past? I think the last thing I read was that one should not go over 1/2 cup daily. Well, if I make a batch of cookies and eat a few, I could easily go over that amount. I would also like to increase my consumption to try to decrease my cholesterol.
Input is apprecited. _________________ -Colleen

| I have to be pretty careful with oats. If my stomach is feeling good, I can eat a whole bowl of them--that's 1/2 a cup and sometimes more--but if my stomach is sensitive, I can't handle any. Because of that, I've limited myself to them no more than once a week. Seems like if you hadn't had any problem with them you could try more. Or you could freeze the cookies so you only eat a few at a time. |

I haven't been eating them daily, but I can handle a cup of them cooked no problem. (I use Gifts of Nature - no luck finding the Bob's oats yet. ) |
