. . . right this minute.

For me, dark and rainy. Pouring, really, and flooding all over the UK.

How about where you are? Anyone enjoying a pretty snow fall? Sunshine? Warm temps? (People from Australia, please don't gloat too much! Wink )

Sunny blue skies, light clouds, slight breeze, weather channel says its 61 but the A/C in the office is set at 78 and just came on so I'm not to sure about that.

We have been having lots of trouble with AM fog however, there was a very bad accident near Orlando a few days ago due to fog and smoke, 70 cars and 5 people died. Sad

Ok, I don't have a window in my office, so I stepped out into the hallway and saw...
...overcast skies with a few snow flurries floating by...
...windswept clouds swirling overhead...
...little sparrows flitting around in the trees...

Grey skies over Denver - sunlight in the foothills just west. It's in the
mid-40's F. Cold and snow arriving late tonight so this is the precursor. Barometer dropped low last night and I woke up with draining sinuses so I know there's bad weathah comin' in! Wink

Today it's a pleasant sunny Summer day. About 35 degrees celcius. Nice breeze too, which is a relief from those 48 degree humid days!

Um, it's 7am now, so I see darkness outside my window. Today it'll probably be a bunch of nasty clouds, some trees, and several inches of snow.

I'll trade in a minute? Jobs too? Houses? Families? Dirty laundry?

Don't wish it away, before you know it, your winter will be upon you, and those short days (thought not as short as here -- we get about 7 hours and 4 minutes of daylight on our shortest day, and you get 2 hours more than that, even if you're all the way down in Melbourne!) Smile

Haha, sure! Let's trade! I've always wanted to go the UK Laughing I love winter and rainy days so I wouldn't mind it at all!

But no, I'm not going to wish it all away. I don't mind summer, I'm just glad we get all the seasons here. Some places in Australia are stuck with summer all year round. I like Autumn, Winter and Spring too Very Happy

A house swap it is! So, some Christmas, I'll be on a beach in Australia, and you'll be in drizzly grey England? Are you near a beach?? (If you surf, they have that new surfing on the Thames planned for 2011 -- have you heard about it? No idea how that's going to work! Laughing I do a Thames walk at least a weekend a month, on the National Trail, so it's odd to think of watching the surfers! Confused

(Just saw an online advert for Qantas, £722 return ticket. It's a SIGN!)

A grey xmas is almost a white Xmas Very Happy And I've always wanted one of those!

Closest beach from here is about 3 hours away. Hence my dis likening of this hot weather. I cannot surf, but I used to be able to bodyboard. I haven't actually been in the ocean for a few years now! I prefer just to walk along the beach on the sand.

P.S. Looking out the window this morning, I think my dream's going to come true - it looks like some rain will be heading our way! Very Happy

You want some snow? We've got loads of it right now. If you melt it it'd be just like rain. Cool

The sun is just starting to come up. It is going to be another gray rainy day. I love Seattle - rain is what we are known for. Very Happy I just let the chickens out of their coop, and they are pecking around looking for bugs. One looks like she will begin to lay again soon (her comb and wattles have changed). The short days have made them stop laying, but I think we're going to see some more eggs soon.

Just took some GF snickerdoodles out of the oven. If I could, I would sit at this table and eat snickerdoodles and watch the chickens all day. But NOOOOOO - I have to go work for the MAN. Confused
