(aside from what really belongs to me). I have been trying to be GF for two weeks now, and yesterday I didn't leave the house, so didn't eat out. I ate some things that I am testing like brown rice bread and milk, which resulted in some tummy grumblings, but the rest was a homemade roast, homemade au jus, and homemade or frozen pure veggies, seeds and nuts.
This morning I don't have the extra in the middle that comes with gluten. I'll bet I can button some pants!
Still, not convinced that processed brown rice or dairy are totally safe, but happy for small rewards. |

Congrats!!! I know it's exciting when that extra middle goes away. My friends mom always looked like she was pregnant (really pregnant) before she went gluten free, but the rest of her was really skinny. She lost her middle very soon after starting the diet.
As for me, I was always very self-conscious about my stomach because I've always been extremely skinny which made it all the more noticeable. Unfortunately my stomach is flat as a board, but my boobs and butt have also followed suit. I'm hoping if I start to gain weight a little of that will come back. I didn't have much up top to begin with, so I couldn't afford to lose any. |

| I know, our bodies are so hard on ourselves. They never fully cooperate, do they? |

Good for you-it took me more than 4 months to get a flat stomach and it's still not really flat!
I bet you'll just keep seeing positive changes! |
