TEC - Guessipies are acceptable too! Just don't tell DH. His head might explode.
This week we're having tacos, some kind of chicken with fish sauce recipe that I can't find at the moment, and BBQ chicken with GF buns. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

Broiled pork tenderloin with honey glazed apples, leeks and currents. Steamed broccoli and roasted garlic potatoes. Had chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for dessert topped with three fun size Baby Ruth's. _________________ Cheers!

Chicken corn chowder, Baby Carrots with Dill Butter and drop biscuits. Apple pie if any of us have room. If not, pie is great for breakfast. _________________ -Colleen

I started a beef brisket in the dutch oven this afternoon (braised and then slow cooked in wine, broth, cranberries, molasses and pearl onions.) I love this dish!! I only make it once or twice a year but I seriously *LOVE* it. This time I paired it with baked red garnet yams that had been tossed with butter, rum and brown sugar and a salad of mixed baby greens, walnuts, dried cranberries, sliced apple and tossed a balsamic vinaigrette and sprinkled with feta. I should've taken a picture. It was a thing of beauty. _________________ Cheers!

Pidgeon with assorted root vegetables (whatever was left in the vegetable drawer that had not sprouted I just chopped it all up and wrapped the whole thing in heavy duty foil with the bird and a dollop of olive oil and some garlic)

Congrats on getting the pigeon, Pat.
Last night was homemade beet borscht w/Dannon naturals yogurt in it instead of sour cream. It was funny, after making the broth I divied it between two pots and made cabbage/carrot borscht for my dh who can't eat beets and beet-heavy borscht for me. _________________ son - high ttg - 4/09, pos. biopsy 5/09

Dannon only claims their plain yogurt is GF. What's Dannon Naturals? |

Last night was pizza soup. Liquid love in a bowl. Tonight is Asian beef over rice. The rest of the week will be leftover soup. _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={

it may be the same as what you are thinking of. It's a blue and white container and both the regular and lowfat say "ALL Natural" in large letters on the container. it was showing up here:
http://www.dannon.com/recipes/eat-smart-with-yogurt/
I like Stonyfield whole milk yogurt but the price is dear, so I get the Dannon, sometimes whole, sometimes low fat. It is plain yogurt. I don't buy flavored yogurts. if I want fruit in it, I put fruit in it, you know? But because 've had allergy issues with dairy for a while, I don't eat too much of it, it's just that Borscht calls for dairy - so I pop an enzyme tab and don't get as many hives that way. _________________ son - high ttg - 4/09, pos. biopsy 5/09

A neighbor gave me a huge pile of turnip greens, so I'm having those cooked with plenty of garlic and hot pepper, and a baked chicken breast. _________________ Pat |
