AL, you are too funny! That is so true, but alas, I did have the crunchy chicken salad. Last night hubby and I mowed and weed eat'd the yard and after that...NO ONE would want to see me at a restaurant! Wink It was a nice cool 94 degrees as I was mowing away! Laughing Plus we wanted to watch a movie (21 was the movie, it was very good). OH I should add, hubby made me some strawberry martini's too! Shocked BAD GIRL with no kids! Laughing

This is an unusual week, here we are parents of 2 younger kids and had no kids this week. We pick them up tonight and I can't wait! I haven't seen them since Sunday!

Tonight, we are dining at Ruby Tuesday's, I simply love their salad bar so I plan to GRAZE at that!

That's exactly what hubby was hoping for Wink

We finally had something worth posting about...

Grilled Chicken Salads. I used Marzetti's Caesar dressing on mine. Peg used Good Season's Zesty Italian on hers.

You must have a better Ruby Tuesdays than us. Ours is a field of CC land mines.

That's what I've been afraid of with their salad bar too.

Last night we had chicken livers sauteed with onions, peppers, and diced tomatoes, and rice and fresh green beans. Now you all be big girls and boys with your responses about the liver. Laughing When I was growing up, back in the days of dinosaurs, if we said we didn't like something we got twice as much served to us and we had to eat it all. That policy definitely had the effect of squelching dinner mutinies!

I watch and if I suspect there is anything has other stuff in it, I always ask them to bring the containers back from the back. They are typically really willing to help me!

Forget dinner! (Tacos BTW)

What about dessert?!

I'm seriously so happy right now I could cry. I made cake for the first time in a year that I could eat that came out soooo good! Thanks to BRM for the cake mix and a lot subbing - plus home made raspberry freezer jam (with berries we picked on Wed) as the center filling and homemade frosting. It's half gone already! YUM! Chocolate and raspberries are probably the best flavor combo in the world! Glad you succeeded Fid. The tacos look pretty fantastic too!

Celiacmaine-iac

I am so GLAD that someone else like chicken livers. I always thought I was crazy... My Mother always made us liver when we were kids and I loved it ever since. btw I am still waiting for the hawaiian pizza recipe. We have such similar taste in foods its amazing.

Fid

That food looks to die for I hope it tasted as good as it looks

Yup - it was delish. Very Happy

Taco are the brainless we don't know what to make but we're hungry we'd better eat something for dinner, dinner.

This version was grilled sliced chicken breast with fajita seasonings, grilled onions and red bell pepper, roasted corn, mango salsa and fresh cilantro.
