OK. Here's a really inane peeve.
Men who appear on TV (local or national) with crooked ties. Come on! If they can't do it themselves, buy the ones that are already tied, or get "wardrobe" to do it for them!

I had a friend in college who had the same gripe. There were 2 sets of 4 stalls each. When she had to "drop some kids off at the pool," she would go to the back set of stalls and go to the furthest one back. Without fail, someone would always come in and go to the stall right next to her.
I think it rubbed off on me because I get annoyed by it too, and 10 years later, I still don't like it.
It's understandable if there are no other stalls open, but not when I'm the only one in there and they choose the stall directly next to mine. |

Hmmm, guys automatically do this - at least when it comes to urinals. You only take the urinal next to someone as a last resort [which really means - you go now or you pee your pants].
As long as we're talking about urinals - at least you girls have enclosed stalls - we have to go "right out in the open". Heck, they might as well have just planted trees in the bathroom. _________________ Al

Such potty talk!!!!! Hehe.
The other night, I was driving on the service road, which is 45-50 mph, and this stupid woman watched me, I saw her face turned my way, when I got almost to the street she was on, she pulled out in front of me. WHAT THE $#*@ ARE THESE PEOPLE THINKING? Of course, she was on the phone, still, no excuse.
Probably my biggest pet peeve is "gluten free" labeled food that really is not gluten free. That tops them all. _________________ You can't discover new oceans unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore! |

What do you think should be the penalty for the person who steals someone else’s lunch out of the work refrigerator? I made the mistake of leaving my lunch in the refrigerator overnight, and my lunch is gone. Totally absent. WTF is up with people that they think they can open up the work fridge and shop for whatever they feel like?!?! I am on a medically restricted diet fercryinoutloud, so it’s not like I can just eat some of the crap out of the vending machine. Add to that fact that I have no cash with me, no credit cards, no way to buy lunch, and my desk drawer stash needs to be restocked.
SO ANGRY!!!!!! _________________ -Colleen

Honestly, I think if a culprit could ever be found in a situation like that, they should be fired. It's stealing, plain and simple. So sorry it happened Colleen. _________________ Steph |

This is spill over of a conversation in the Members Only Forum. Since I didn't want to hijack it, I'll put it here. Besides it fits better here.
Basically I made the comment..."If you want to get something done, as they busiest person to get it done".

Yes. It probably doesn't "help" matters that you are responsible. They kinda go hand in hand. Those type of people are always the go-to people. Couple that with the fact that we tend to have the inability to say NO. Oh...and we probably have "Sucker" tattooed our forehead....
There are days that I wish I could be an irresponsible-IdontGiveA$hit person - perhaps then people wouldn't ask me to all the stuff they ask me to do. After a conversion with my Mother tonight, I'm about at the end of my rope.
We have a gal at church that wonders why people don't take her seriously when she wants to do something. Maybe, just maybe, it has to do with the fact that she has pi$$-poor follow thru. She always wants to start things, but yet can't ever seem to show up and actually do what she said she was going to. Those type of people just frustrate the hell out of me. _________________ Al

Have you tried talking to her about this? _________________ Ostrich :>--O==={
