Judy, how long do you figure we'd be likely to hang out that the farmer's market?

That's my question too! I'm supposed to work friday night until midnight so I'm hoping to be able to switch it- but if not...I was curious if there is still decent stuff at the market if you got there not quite at the crack of dawn...like 10:30 ish?

So, are we going make it the 10th? Sorry Caroline we can't do it the 23rd. It's always hard planning a group event - there's bound to be some scheduling conflicts somewhere. I suspect there'll be another one Wink

That's fine if it's the 10th. I'm more than happy to make 2 trips to Wisconsin. I can't guarantee I can make it, but I will surely try.

We spent 1-1/2 hours with plenty of time.

The only problem with getting there so late is the crowds. I would think 8:30 - 9:00 would be the best. Of course we'd be pretty early for Bunky's then. I think they open at 11:00. To kill time, we went to Oelbrich Gardens which is just down the street (6 or 7 blocks) from Bunky's. It's free unless you want to see the special exhibits.

Maybe it won't be so crowded now that summer is over, so we could probably get to the market around 9:30. (Of course, if it's raining, we could go any time!!! Laughing )

So, it sounds like the 10th it is. What time should I make the reservations for? 1:00? Later? Earlier?

I have a 6 hour drive to get there, but I'll get up really early if I have to. I think they're only open until 2 for lunch, so 1 would probably work if we're doing lunch.

I'm in too- 1 is good for me. Even if I can't change my work friday night to be at the market early early, I will certainly be up there easily for 1pm

Any time's OK with me. I don't have to do the market.

Do they happen to know what time they would best be able to accommodate all of us?
Good to know they're open longer hours on weekends--it makes sense though. I think I went on a Friday when I was there.

I'll ask that when I make the reservation.

So, on Oct 10th @ 1:00 we've got...

Rachel
Judy
Caroline
Peg
Al

Am I missing anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Come one - come all...

We think we're going to come down Friday night and spend the night.
