I have used this product in the past and it was fine but I believe the new bottle I purchased might contain gluten. Every time I use it, I start having stomach pain and diarrhea about 2 hours after dinner.

Has anyone else had this problem? I was going to email the manufacturer but cannot access their website so I was going to call them tomorrow...

Hi Pat & Paula,

There 2 versions of this...a Wheat free version and a regular version. Some stores (like my Pick n Save!) will display them right next to one another...you need to look carefully at the bottle. They do have different labels on the (different colors).

http://www.san-j.com/pages/tamardsc.htm - the Wheat free version is the 3 product in the list.

This is the label:

Here's the ingredient list:
Organic Wheat Free Tamari Soy Sauce
INGREDIENTS: Water, Whole Soybeans (OCIA certified), Salt, Alcohol (to preserve freshness)

There is another product that other like it's called Bragg's Liquid Aminos
