Sweetness Colleen!!! Thanks so much. Hopefully I remember to call during business hours before they're all out.

Called and requested mine today. I think I might have to enlist my friends and family to call for me too. Smile

I called. Sounds like we get a "free" mix of any kind. I'll take the cookies again. They were great!

I e-mailed my Celiac brother right away. He lives in the CA mts. Hope he can find them without driving too far.

My speed reading got me into trouble again. I missed the word FREE in the subject field. Smile

I work at General Mills in consumer services and I just wanted to let you all know that we are blown away at the number of people that have contacted us today alone for the free coupon. We haven’t seen anything like this in. . .well. . .maybe ever? LOL I have worked there for 3 years and the volume of calls we had today was unbelievable. Everyone that we talked to today were so excited and SO patient considering how long they had to wait on hold before they were able to get one of us. If you didn’t get through try again tomorrow or next week. We haven’t been told when this will end but based on today I can’t imagine them stopping it soon LOL. We knew that the gluten free mixes were going to be a hit but this is really overwhelming. Thank you all again for your patience and for being so easy to talk to. I hope to talk with more of you soon!!

This is soooo cool to hear!!!

I called around 2pm, and I wound up waiting about 15 minutes on hold, but that's ok (gotta love speakerphone). I can't wait to get it, and now I'm just trying to find some friends who will call for me too.

They ask you a bunch of questions about gluten in your household, so if you do have a friend call to get extras for you, I would let them know that ahead of time. I think they're trying to get some stats on just how gluten-free the households are that are interested in the mixes.

They said it takes 2-3 weeks to receive it, so I'll be (im)patiently waiting.

Interesting...

So I'm guessing the proper "friend" response would be "I'm not gluten-free but I have a friend, loved one, relative that is and I want to have one on hand for them". This might give them the depth of their market - meaning - it's just not GF'er that buy this stuff, it's also the GF'ers friends that buy it too, etc.

General Mills is being very generous in giving out coupons for free mixes. I hope the celiac and GF community doesn't take advantage of their generosity.

This was my thought too.

We haven't called for ours, probably won't since we've tried them and know what they're like.
